The Centering Prayer Group is here to promote, develop and enhance one's personal contemplative (centering) prayer and Lectio Divina by meeting and engaging in a weekly practice. "Prayer that is centered entirely on the presence of God" is what Thomas Merton quoted as centering prayer. This paired with Lectio Divina can help us “return to the heart, find one's deepest center, and awaken the profound depths of our being”.
